Getting Back Into the Groove

IMG_1058There are some weeks and months that just seem to fly by — such has been my life for the past few months and now weeks.

I have not even had the time to sit and write a post here. The reason — a major house move. We were moving two homes into one and were forced out of one before we could do the ‘big’ move, so it was 3 moves altogether. I am exhausted from doing triage of ‘stuff’ and then having to do it again when unpacking.

You open up a box and wonder “why did I keep that again?” — because you’re so tired by that time. I just want to sit and relax. There is a fireplace (gas, not wood) in my new home! The last time I had a fireplace was two homes ago (LOL), so I’m excited about that. BUT, I’m more excited about the warmer weather that is supposed to be here but keeps poking its head in and out of the clouds of either rain or snow. Still.  The variances in temperatures in our area – known for its great differences in weather systems – are giving me migraines.

Buds are trying desperately to poke their heads out to begin blooming, birds have come home to “Huh?? I thought winter was over!”, and we keep taking our coats off, then back on again, then off, and having to run through rain showers because they weren’t called for, and so on and so forth…

I’m trying to get back into the groove of writing and even though I have a daily goal of 2000 words, I am barely scratching 100 lately (insert crying face.)

“I just want to sleep,” growls the snoozing bear.

I will get back to my daily groove of writing, astrology and my daily card draws again — soon.

I am thankful that I have a home, in a location that I love, and that which I am already completely enjoying despite the yawns. There is so much going on ‘out there’ — a lot of explosive events — I am having a hard time keeping up, but it sounds a lot like the rearing heads of Uranus (disruption), Mars (aggression), and Pluto (change)!

I hope you are enjoying a wonderful Spring!

Sounds lovely and just in time for Spring and Summer. I always have that excited feeling of anticipation and exploration in a new home in early summer.

We are moving next year hopefully in the Fall if we can sell here by then. I hear ya about wondering why you keep stuff!!!
