Today begins the last Mercury Retrograde for the year! Mercury is going retrograde in Sagittarius and is a good time to just relax. It may seem contradictory as Sagittarius is an action sign and are rarely found sitting still. You might also find yourself looking back on past actions, crossing paths with old lovers or friends, or rethinking certain issues. Be careful to back up your work, check everything twice before pressing SEND, and try to be as clear as possible in your communications!
Do not accept any employment unless it is for someone or a company that you already know, or you might find that once you begin working, your job description will change or things will not be as you had envisioned. It will be best if you wait until after the retrograde is over on December 13. If you can wait a little longer the further away from the retrograde cycle you can accept your offer, the less the surprises will be.
If you are travelling, check your tickets, your times, your reservations and anything else related to travelling, such as passports, travel insurance, etc.
In the midst of the retrograde are two eclipses: the first is a solar eclipse in the sign of 2 degrees Sagittarius as well! and the second is a lunar eclipse in 18 degrees Gemini.
The solar eclipse touched my Venus in Sagittarius at 1 degree in the 4th house. I am supposed to see changes happening around the house of Home or my IC – representing the most personal areas…home, family, roots. Beginning on November 4-5th, when Venus and Mercury were at 2 degrees Sagittarius the first time, I should have felt some changes beginning to happen – I didn’t and I haven’t yet. On November 25th, the day of the eclipse, I only felt a little nervousness, but outside of that, nothing major. I will have to wait until December 25th to see if anything comes up around that time. Or, on January 19th, when the Moon is at 2 degrees Sagittarius.
In my case, I have Venus conjunct Mars, both in Sagittarius, so perhaps the impact of the eclipse is not as obvious. Or, the impact is so strong but I will only be aware of it when I look back, which is usually the case with major events happening in your life. Hindsight is always 20-20.
You will have to figure out where the planets mentioned are located and where the eclipse has touched your natal chart to see where it will have its full effect.
If you happen to be reading this, let me know if you have felt anything major in your life around the dates that I marked in here (November 4-5th, November 25, and January 19th).
Have a great weekend!
